The state has returned $100 million in unclaimed property since Arkansas Auditor Dennis Milligan has been in office, according to figures reported by the auditor's office Monday.
From fiscal year 2014 to 2025, the auditor's office has returned an average of $21.2 million in unclaimed property each year, according to state data. In fiscal years 2024 and 2025, the only full fiscal years since Milligan took office in January 2023, the auditor's office has returned an average of $34.7 million a year.
