Iwill be up front here. I am going to address the bail situation in Canada today when I really don’t know where I stand on it.

On the one hand, there are the Conservative parties, federal and provincial, along with police chiefs, who believe the present legislation covering bail is too lax, that too many accused are getting bail when they really shouldn’t.

Then there are those with a more lenient attitude who, following the lead of former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, don’t want to see people, mainly those charged with offences minor in nature, locked up before they are proven guilty.

Problem is, some of those charged with what might seem to be minor at the time, see that person snap once they are released.
