AUBURN, Ala. (WLOX) - On Monday, the Southeastern Football Conference named Auburn QB Deuce Knight , a graduate of George County High School, its Offensive SEC Freshman Player of the Week for Week 13.

During Saturday’s 62-17 victory over Mercer , Knight scored 6 touchdowns, tying QB Cam Newton and RB Cadillac Williams for the program record. 4 came through the air as the true freshman went 15-for-20 on pass attempts and racked up 239 passing yards. On the ground, the left-hander scampered 9 times for 162 yards, including a 75-yard rush into the endzone.

The contest was Knight’s first time starting since joining the team earlier this year after flipping from Notre Dame to Auburn , announcing his commitment to the Tigers in October 2024.
