Two men have appeared in court after it's alleged one of them provided a DNA test purporting to be the other 'intending to cause loss in relation to a child maintenance claim'. Anthony Arkless, 29, is accused of conspiracy to defraud the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Craig Simms, 36, has been charged with fraud by false representation. Court documents allege that Simms "provided a DNA test purporting to be Anthony Arkless, intending to cause loss to in relation to the chid maintenance claim made by [a woman] or to expose that person to a risk of loss."
The pair appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Monday, November 24. Arkless, of Bempton Crescent, Bridlington, is alleged to have "conspired together with Craig Simms to defraud the Department for Work and Pensions" in Sal
