Lidl has revealed a rare chocolate advent calendar with a twist in time for Christmas 2025, and you don’t have long to get yours.

The supermarket has launched a unique Day 1 Advent Calendar which features only one door, ideal for those with a sweet tooth who are guilty of eating their advent calendar in one sitting.

Behind the single special door is one large bar of decadently smooth milk chocolate, divided into 24 squares.

Lidl’s latest festive treat comes as consumer research commissioned by the supermarket revealed that over half of Brits (53%) admit to eating more than one day’s chocolate at a time - with under-30s proving the biggest culprits, as 72% confess the sweet temptation is simply too hard to resist when it comes to only eating one chocolate every day.
