BAY CITY, MI – Sideline strategy sessions were short and to the point at Bay City All Saints.
With a four-year starting quarterback who seemingly has done it all, the message was simple.
Go back, Jack, do it again.
“We’d be in a tight spot and I’d ask our offensive coordinator if he needed a timeout,” All Saints coach Eric Gust said. “He’d say ‘No, we’ve got Jack.’”
After seeing him come through time and time – and time -- again, the Cougars always knew they could bank on big things from Jack Wetters. He led All Saints to three playoff berths and an unprecedented league-championship threepeat, accounting for 7,000 yards and 113 touchdowns along the way.
Now he does it again, becoming just the third player in the 61-year history of the Golden Helmet Award to claim Player of the Year h
