PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Patchy morning fog is possible once again across the lower elevations, thanks to the recent rain, light winds and cold morning temperatures. Any fog that develops could be dense and reduce visibility for the morning commute. The fog will likely burn off by 9 or 10 a.m.
Look for a mostly sunny afternoon in the Valley with a forecast high of 73 degrees. That high temperature is just about average for Phoenix for this time of year.
Warmer days are ahead as high pressure building to our west is forecast to shift east, positioning itself right over Arizona midweek. This will bring highs in the mid to upper 70s for both Wednesday and Thursday, which is Thanksgiving. Skies Wednesday are expected to be sunny, with cloud cover moving in throughout the day Thursday.
