The Kingman Railroad Museum on Route 66 held its 5th annual Train Show at College Park Church Saturday. Multiple vendors offered various model train and other memorabilia items for sale. Visitors could check out model trains and buy items from HO, O, N and G scale trains.
“We’re trying to plant a seed for creativity, for the kids to see the world as a different place,” said Carl Service, Secretary for the Kingman Railroad Museum. The Museum encourages kids (and big kids) to visit their location downtown. “We enjoy showing grade-school kids our railroads. When we see Moms having to drag their kids out of our museum, we know it’s a success.”
