DALLAS — Thanksgiving is this week and for many, that means preparing a holiday feast. For those who find themselves in need of some last-minute items, there will be some grocery stores open.

Many big box retailers, like Walmart, Sam's Club, Target and Costco, will be closed Thanksgiving Day , but some grocery stores will be open with limited hours.

Here's which grocery stores will be open in North Texas on Thanksgiving Day and what we know about their hours.

North Texas grocery stores open on Thanksgiving Day

Hours may vary by location and it's a good idea to check with your store for their exact hours on Thanksgiving Day before you head out.

Albertsons: Open 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

H-E-B: Open from 6 a.m. to noon.

Kroger: Open until 5 p.m. in North Texas
