A woman shot dead at a nightclub has been identified as latin singer Maria De La Rosa. She is understood to have been shot dead in the early hours of Saturday morning in what police described as an “ambush-style” killing.

Accounts from witnesses said they witnessed two unknown males run up to a parked vehicle and let off multiple shots. All three of the passengers inside were hit, but at first unidentified . After further investigation, it was revealed that one was up-and-coming singer Rosa.
