A 16-year-old has been left with life-threatening injuries following a city shooting. A teenager has been left fighting for his life after police officers found him at the scene at 5.17pm yesterday, Monday, with a wound consistent with a gun shot.
On Tuesday morning, detectives continued door to door enquiries while scenes of crime officers worked around the large 400 square metre cordon which blocked off several streets in the local area.
Residents have spoken of their fear to YorkshireLive but also hope for the young teenager to pull through as he fights for life in hospital with his family by his side.
The incident happened in London Road, in Sheffield.
