PRINCE GEORGE, Va. (WWBT) - Virginia State Police say two people are dead following a crash on I-295 South Tuesday morning.
According to a release, this crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. on I-295 South at mile-marker 12 in Prince George County.
A disabled tractor-trailer was parked on the right emergency shoulder.
A 2014 Toyota Camry was driving South and went off the right side of the road and ran into the tractor-trailer. Both the driver and passenger in the Camry died at the scene.
Speed is being look at as a factor in the crash.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, Keith Holloway, 51, of Philadelphia, Pa., has been cited for not using emergency flashers or emergency triangles.
The crash remains under investigation.
