DeWitt, N.Y. - The DeWitt Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a missing 22-year-old man.

Muheeb Alahmad, of DeWitt, was last seen at noon Thursday getting dropped off by a family member at the Westside Learning Center on Gifford Street in Syracuse, according to a news release Lt. Jerry Pace, DeWitt police spokesperson.

When a family member went to pick him up at 8 p.m., Alahmad was not there, Pace said.

Alahmad has not been seen since.

Family members told police that Alahmad had left his wallet and cell phone at home that day, Pace said.

Alahmad is 5 feet, 4 inches and has brown eyes, Pace said. He was last seen wearing a white jacket and black camo pants.

There is no indication that Alahmad is in danger, Pace said.
