BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office says they filed charges against a man after finding narcotics in his vehicle during a traffic stop earlier this month.
Michael Kevin Driggers, 50, was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, second offense; and providing false information to police, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies were patrolling the area of South Live Oak near Bluebird Lane on Nov. 15 when they pulled over a vehicle they say had defective equipment.
They made contact with the driver, whom they later identified as Driggers, and a female passenger.
