NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — North Charleston Police say patrols in an area known for “frequent drug activity and violent crime” led them to arrest a man who had two loaded guns.
Deymonte Murray, 27, was taken into custody and charged with two counts of felony possession of a firearm, according to North Charleston Police.
Officers were patrolling the area of Spruill and Carolina Avenues Monday at approximately 4:30 p.m. when they spotted four men sitting on the porch of an abandoned, condemned building. As they began walking away, officers detained them for questioning, police said.
