Tara Reid taken to hospital after falling ill at Chicago area hotel

Actor Tara Reid was taken to the hospital from her Chicago area hotel early Sunday morning, according to reports.

A spokesperson for Rosemont Public Safety told NBC News on Tuesday that officers responded to an ambulance call at the DoubleTree in the Chicago suburb for a sick person on Sunday at 12:39 a.m.

The patient was taken to the hospital, the spokesperson said, without releasing any further details on the reason for the transport or the person's condition.

Reid, recounting the evening to TMZ , said she went to the hotel bar for a drink. After she ordered, she went outside for a cigarette. When she got back to the bar, her glass of wine was covered with a napkin, which she said she did not do.
