Campbell Soup Company has responded after an executive was allegedly caught saying the company’s products were for “poor people” among other offensive remarks.

WDIV-TV in Detroit was the first to report the news after former employee at Campbell’s, Robert Garza, of Monroe filed a lawsuit in Michigan.

Garza claims he was fired after he complained about Campbell’s VP of Information Technology Martin Bally, who can be heard in a video released by the TV station ranting about the quality of Campbell’s Soup and the people who buy it.

Garza, who worked at the company’s headquarters in New Jersey, alleges Bally made several derogatory comments about Indian employees, calling them “idiots.”
