The Indiana House plans to meet on Dec. 1 to talk about redistricting, despite the Senate's decision to not convene on the topic, multiple Statehouse sources told IndyStar.
The expected announcement from House Speaker Todd Huston, R-Fishers, keeps President Donald Trump's hopes of redistricting alive in Indiana, but a new congressional map is still unlikely to pass. Without the Senate's approval, the redrawn map can't be signed into law by Gov. Mike Braun.
