Brush Fire Ignites Along Route 208 In Fair Lawn

A brush fire broke out along Route 208 south Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 25 in Fair Lawn.

Police were redirecting traffic between Berdan Avenue and Fair Lawn Avenue at 2:15 p.m.

Photos from the scene show flames burning through the woods along the highway.

Drivers reported slowing traffic and lane closures as emergency responders moved equipment into the wooded section off the southbound lanes.
