MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) - A months long investigation lead the Madisonville/Hopkins County Narcotics Unit to two arrests for trafficking meth.

Officials say they began investigating 39-year-old Stacey Dillard in September for drug trafficking.

During that investigation, they say they seized a large quantity of meth.

According to a news release, on Monday, investigators stopped Dillard and his wife, 38-year-old Destiny White, in the 2200 block of Anton Road in Madisonville.

Police say they found about one pound in the back seat of the car, about 18 inches away from the couple’s infant child.

Investigations conducted a search warrant the the couple’s home on Brown Road in Madisonville, and say they found a trafficking amount of meth, paraphernalia, a large amount of money, and suspecte
