A Clayton County 2-month-old boy who had reported as being abducted his father the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 25 was found safe in Nashville later in the day, the Clayton County Police Department said.
In an update at about 5 p.m. on Nov. 25, the CCPD reported that the child, Roman Williams, was found in Nashville. The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department, in coordination with the Clayton County Police Department, helped find the suspect, taking him into custody and safely recovering the child.
The CCPD said warrants had been obtained for the boy’s father, Tariq Denzell Williams, 27, for kidnapping, false imprisonment, simple battery, theft by taking-motor vehicle, theft by taking, interference with a 911 call and third degree child cruelty.
