COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The Columbus Police Department’s Fugitive Unit arrested eight people Thursday during a warrant roundup operation that cleared 24 outstanding warrants.
The operation, conducted Nov. 20, involved Special Operations, Investigative Services, Patrol and the Department of Community Supervision. Officers cleared 15 felony warrants and nine misdemeanor warrants.
Arrests made
Ryan Stanley, 41, was arrested on charges including possession of MDMA/Ecstasy, convicted felon in possession of firearms, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime, possession of marijuana, obstruction, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
Tiera Royster, 30, was charged with cruelty to children in the second degree.
Varyan Moody, 33, was arrested on a theft
