WACO, Texas — It's that time of the year once again, the Waco Fire Department's Holiday Cheer Fire Engine will soon be taking to the streets to spread the holiday spirit.
Beginning on Friday, Nov. 28, the engine, decked out in Christmas lights and festive decorations, will make stops in neighborhoods throughout Waco to bring holiday cheer to the community.
After each night's designated route, the engine will stop at a central location in each neighborhood, giving residents a chance to take pictures and meet their local firefighters.
The engine will make stops nearly every evening through Dec. 22. The current route schedule is as follows:
Kendrick Neighborhood: 5:30-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28
Sanger Heights and Brook Oaks Neighborhoods: 5:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29
