A drug dealer who got involved in a lucrative supply operation which raked in up to £107,000 in four months has been jailed. Michael Hall sent thousands of bulk messages offering cocaine for sale to people in Gateshead .
Newcastle Crown Court heard the North East Regional Organised Crime Unit had been investigating a "county lines" drug dealing number operating in the area between April and August this year, which it turned out was being operated by Hall. Sam Faulks, prosecuting, said: "The number was used to send a large volume of bulk messages to residents in Gateshead on an almost daily basis. There were almost 10,500 messages."
