This Thanksgiving menu is from the U.S. Naval Barracks at Port Chicago – 82 years old and full of wartime comfort food classics. Back then, Sailors could even count on a pack of cigarettes with dinner. What makes this menu especially meaningful is knowing what came next. For some of the young men who sat down to this exact meal, it would be their last Thanksgiving.
