INDIANAPOLIS — Court documents reveal new details about a shooting on the west side of Indianapolis that left a man critically injured and the alleged suspect arrested.

Police responded to a report of a person shot in the 2900 block of Campanile Drive , near West Washington Street and Tibbs Avenue, around 8:30 p.m. Nov. 27.

According to court documents, police arrived on scene to find a man that had been shot in the chest, arms, legs and hip. Police said he was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

IMPD said two men were shooting at one another in a parking lot in what police characterized as "family violence."

The other person involved in the incident was quickly identified after the shooting by witnesses on scene, police said.
