We are now into the coldest stretch of the week. A reinforcing blast of Arctic air has locked in highs stuck in the 40s, a full 15 to 20 degrees below what late November typically brings. As we head into Friday night ,clear skies and light winds will allow temperatures to tumble into the 20s across nearly all inland communities. Wind chills will dip into the teens at times, even near the coast.
Saturday stays chilly but a touch warmer as high pressure sits overhead. Clouds increase Saturday night into Sunday, and that signals our transition into a much busier weather pattern. A coastal trough pushes inland Sunday, bringing a round of light rain Sunday evening into Monday morning.
The bigger story. and the one we’re watching closely arrives Monday night into Tuesday. A strong coastal low
