TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The Amish mother accused of drowning her four-year-old son was deemed fit to stand trial in the Tuscarawas County Court of Common Pleas on Wednesday.
Ruth Miller has previously pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
Miller, 40, has been indicted on a total of seven counts:
One count of aggravated murder for her four-year-old son
One count of murder for her four-year-old son
One count of felonious assault for her four-year-old son
One count of child endangering for her 15-year-old daughter
Three counts of domestic violence for the 15-year-old daughter and twin 18-year-old sons
Miller’s trial is set to begin on March 4.
