WASHINGTON, DC (WOWK) - One of the two West Virginia National Guard members shot in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday has died, according to President Donald Trump.
The president said that U.S. Army Spc. Sarah Beckstrom, 20, of Webster Springs, succumbed to the injuries she sustained in the shooting on Wednesday. Her father, Gary Beckstrom, also confirmed her death on social media.
