North Jersey could see a wintry mix to start the week, with rain and snow expected to move through the region Dec. 2, though forecasters say significant accumulation is unlikely.
Meteorologist Nick Guzzo of the National Weather Service said the storm system remains “low impact,” with most areas expecting rain mixed with snow through the day. He noted that northwestern parts of the state, particularly Sussex County have the greatest chance of seeing snow, given their higher elevation and colder temperatures.
“We don’t have many specifics yet, but this will be more of a rain-snow mix,” Guzzo said.
Forecast models as of Nov. 28 show minimal concerns for travel.
