The owner of a new bakery is "looking forward" to opening the doors on the high street.

Sourdough Hub, based in Craven Way in Newmarket, announced it will be opening a new bakery on High Street in Newmarket in late January or early February next year.

Jennifer Marshall, the owner, said: "I have a mixture of feelings about opening, as I am excited but also feeling nervous and have butterflies.

"It's just been a bit of a rollercoaster, and it's a lot of pressure on me, but I am staying positive.

"It's an incredible journey and I am constantly learning."

She added: "Opening an independent business on the High Street is scary and challenging but there is a big need for a bakery.

"I am looking forward to seeing people coming through the doors and I'm so excited to welcome them.
