ASHFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - State Police are investigating an overnight burglary at Route 44 Beer, Wine, and Spirits in Ashford.

Troopers from Troop C in Tolland responded to 5 North Road at approximately 7:50 a.m. on Friday for a report of a burglary at the package store.

Items from the store were found outside in the immediate area, according to state police.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
