A car has been torched in Milngavie in an early-morning firebombing attack. Emergency services raced to the blaze on Hilton Road, Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, at 2am on Friday.

The fire was extinguished by fire crews and there were no reported injuries. Police say they are treating the incident as deliberate, the Daily Record reports. Images from the scene show the vehicle engulfed in flames on a driveway on the street.

Officers have urged anybody with information to come forward.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.10am on Friday, 28 November, 2025, we received a report of a car on fire on Hilton Road, Milngavie.

“The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there were no reports of any injuries.
