KIMT-TV 3 News - The National Weather Service is predicting around a foot of snow in North Iowa by Sunday morning and slightly less in southeastern Minnesota.
The forecasts for both regions are similar:
WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTH IOWA FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM CST SUNDAY.
.TODAY...Mostly sunny this morning, then mostly cloudy with a
chance of snow this afternoon. Little or no snow accumulation.
Highs in the upper 20s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming
south this afternoon. Chance of snow 50 percent.
.TONIGHT...Snow. Snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches. Near steady
temperature in the lower 20s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of
snow near 100 percent.
.SATURDAY...Snow. Snow may be heavy at times in the afternoon.
Additional snow accumulation of 4 to 8
