HILLSBORO, N.D. — A 54-year-old Hillsboro woman was seriously injured in a rollover crash on Thanksgiving Day in Traill County.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after midnight, Thursday, Nov. 27, in the 166 Block of Third Street Northeast, which is about 8 miles northeast of Hillsboro.

The patrol said in a release that the woman was driving a Ford F-250 eastbound on Third Street Northeast, commonly referred to as Traill County Road 13. The truck went off the road, entered the south ditch and rolled.

The woman was taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo by Sanford AirMed. The patrol said the road was covered in ice at the time of the crash and the woman was not wearing a seat belt.

The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
