A significant snowstorm that’s already started in the Plains states is now pushing toward the Midwest and is slated to bring more heavy snowfall into Michigan on Saturday.

Call it Round #2 of our Thanksgiving holiday storm pattern. This one won’t have us feeling déjà vu, though. While the Wednesday/Thursday storm dumped its highest snowfall totals (20+ inches!) in the Upper Peninsula, this incoming Saturday/Sunday storm system will be targeting West Michigan and some Northern Michigan spots with the highest accumulations, the recent forecast by MLive Chief Meteorologist Mark Torregrossa shows .
