Orchard Park, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills will be without both starting offensive tackles for Sunday’s pivotal AFC clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Bills coach Sean McDermott announced on Friday that left tackle Dion Dawkins (concussion) and right tackle Spencer Brown (shoulder) won’t play against the Steelers, leaving the Bills without quarterback Josh Allen’s top two outside blockers against a talented Steelers defensive line.
Dawkins entered the NFL’s concussion protocol after last week’s game against the Houston Texans. He left the game late in the first quarter but returned a few minutes into the second quarter. Brown played through a shoulder injury but was eventually replaced in the game by veteran backup Ryan Van Demark.
