The United Church building in Watford is the location of the latest project by a pair of Lambton County developers, which will see licensed childcare spaces created while the congregation continues using the site.
George and Steadman Properties previously purchased United Church buildings in Courtright and Wyoming as sites for new childcare spaces, while the congregations remain as tenants.
The property development company, run by Brigden-area residents Ross George and Mark Steadman, started out by converting a former Masonic hall in their own community into a childcare centre.
“We’re really excited to bring this one to the community of Watford and we’re happy to keep doing what we do,” George said.
