KENOSHA, Wis. (WKOW) — A deadly apartment fire Thursday night claimed the lives three siblings — two young boys and a girl.
The Kenosha Fire Department was called to the scene on the 5200 of 43rd Avenue at 10:39 p.m., according to a press release.
The multi-family building was engulfed when they arrived.
A 7-year-old-year girl was taken via MedFlight to a local hospital in life-threatening condition. She has since passed away, according to spokesperson Lt. Joshua Hecker, of the Kenosha Police Department.
The girl's siblings, a 9-year-old boy and his 10-year-old brother, died as a result of the fire at the scene.
Their father was treated for smoke inhalation at a hospital. The Disaster Response Team is assisting displaced families.
