Shoppers and restaurant workers recalled seeing a person getting 'slashed' and a knifeman carrying a 'samurai sword' at a busy shopping centre today.

Violence flared at Merry Hill shopping centre in Brierley Hill, Dudley , this afternoon (November 28), where a teenager was stabbed and police and paramedics were called to the scene.

The teenage boy was taken to hospital with injuries which were thankfully not serious.

Although unconfirmed by West Midlands Police , it's believed the attack took place at Merry Hill's food hall known as Eat Central.
