The man who drunkenly murdered his girlfriend's brother by ploughing into him with his car told police officers: "I'm terrified what I've done - I know I'm going to prison." Martin O'Donovan died aged 47 after being hit by Stephen Bates' Ford Fiesta outside his sister's home on Stonyhurst Road in Woolton following his mum's 70th birthday party on April 18 this year.
