Lane Kiffin addressed a question about his future again on Friday after his Ole Miss team beat Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl 38-19.
Kiffin must still decide if he wants to take LSU’s vacant head coaching job or return for a seventh season with the Rebels. Florida is no longer in the running to hire him, according to Friday reports by On3 and ESPN, and Ole Miss expects him to make a final decision by Saturday so it can prepare for the College Football Playoff and the Wednesday start of the NCAA’s early signing period — with or without him.
“No, I haven’t (decided),” Kiffin told the Egg Bowl’s ABC broadcast after the game, “I’ve got a lot of praying to do to figure that out tomorrow.”
