IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - The city of Iowa City will begin removing snow downtown at 2:00 am Sunday.
City officials said vehicles parked in tow-away zones will be towed starting at 2:00 am.
Towing will impact Prentiss Street to Market Street, Madison Street to Gilbert Street and North Clinton Street from Market Street to Chruch Street.
City officials said vehicles can be moved to a Downtown Parking ramp or to on-street parking spaces outside of the area and follow all posted parking signs to prevent your vehicle from being towed.
If your vehicle is towed, you can go to the Iowa City Police Department with a photo ID and payment for parking fines. A description of your vehicle and plate number is recommended.
