CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) - Chesterfield Fire and EMS said no one was injured after a house fire on Saturday afternoon.
Just before 1 p.m., crews were called to the home on Cloverpatch Terrace.
“The first firefighters that arrived on scene found heavy smoke coming from the home and fire near the roofline,” said the department in a Facebook post.
Chesterfield Fire and EMS said no one was injured and they were able to get the fire under control in less than an hour.
Firefighters believe the fire may have started as a result of a wood stove, marking the second time crews have responded to a wood stove fire in the last 24 hours.
