Ohio State head coach Ryan Day had to step in and prevent his players from performing a disrespectful act after leading them to a monumental win over Michigan on Saturday.

It’s a new dawn for the Buckeyes, having finally gotten one over their hoodoo team with a convincing victory over the Wolverines, away from home at that.

Ohio State hadn’t beaten Michigan in five years, having been able to figure every other opponent out. According to FOX’s Colin Cowherd, they beat everyone, “except Michigan.”

That rule got flipped on its head on Saturday, as the Buckeyes remained undefeated after facing their bitter Ann Arbor rivals on their home turf. They prevented them from scoring a single touchdown in a 27-9 affair, so players were ready to plant the flag after the win.
