LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Rain chances are back with the first chance of showers and storms expected Sunday morning and the next round arriving on Monday.
With a cold front on the way, showers and storms are likely to move in after midnight on Sunday. The chances of severe weather with these storms look low, but it’s not out of the question some storms early Sunday morning may produce strong winds or small hail.
Rain may persist into Sunday morning before leaving for the afternoon. In its’ wake will be partly-to-mostly cloudy skies and temps that may stay in the 50’s during the afternoon if enough clouds remain. It will also be windy behind the front with gusts of 20-30 mph.
