WEXFORD COUNTY, MI - An autopsy has confirmed that the body found last Tuesday in Northern Michigan is missing pregnant woman, Rebecca Park.

In a Saturday press release, Wexford County Sheriff Trent Taylor also confirmed Michigan State Police and other law enforcement agencies are still trying to locate Park’s baby.

"We understand the public’s desire for details and their demand for justice for Rebecca and her baby. We ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to seek answers for this tragic situation," Taylor wrote.

Park, 22, was last seen on Nov. 3, leaving a family member’s home in Wexford County’s Boon Township. She was reported missing the next day. Park was 38 or 39 weeks pregnant at the time.
