On Saturday at 7:09 p.m. the National Weather Service released an updated winter weather advisory valid for Sunday between 3 a.m. and noon for Westmoreland Ridges and Fayette Ridges.

The weather service comments, "Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph."

"Plan on slippery road conditions," says the weather service. "Please report snow or ice accumulations by calling 412-262-1988, posting to the NWS Pittsburgh Facebook page, or using X @NWSPittsburgh."
