Five firefighters were transported to Norwalk Hospital after suffering burns during a house fire Saturday afternoon, with one remaining in the Bridgeport Burn Unit.

When crews arrived at the scene at 29 Bayview Ave, they were met with fire on all three floors of the house.

All of the occupants were able to evacuate safely, but the house was named as unfit to live in.

Twelve occupants are currently displaced as the American Red Cross helps them find housing.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
