CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland ushered in the holiday season Saturday as streams of families filled Public Square, just days after Northeast Ohio’s first major snowfall.
WinterLand 2025 continued a tradition that stretches back nearly four decades.
The event transformed the city’s central plaza into a winter celebration, featuring live music, family activities and festive entertainment throughout the afternoon.
Families lined up for photos with Santa and the Grinch while crowds warmed themselves around fire pits and browsed food trucks and pop-up bars.
The evening’s main attractions began as darkness fell. Destination Cleveland premiered its IlluminateCLE light show, a synchronized display of music and more than half a million twinkling lights. The spectacle set the stage for the lighting
